Artist's Comments

Hidden among the charred roses and thorns is a golden bud - awaiting her ressurection.

Fine silver (Black, Thick Gold Vermeil)
This piece features two 7-inch bracelets that can be attached together to form a 14-inch choker and a set of earrings.
This took about 6 months to finish (lots of initial problems) so I am very happy now that it's done. :)

The main point was to get a high saturation on the gold against the black and to texture the black as much as possible. I'm a little disapointed at the photography because this piece has crazy textures that didn't show up so well.

Price tag: $475 USD

Now that is some pretty wicked looking craftwork. Sculpting on the leaves is a beaut, they really pop. Nicely lit, awesome work.

Right and wrong are not what separate us and our enemies. It's our different standpoints, our perspectives that separate us. Both sides blame one another. There's no good or bad side. Just two sides holding different views.

wow that is intense...

Much thanks Aaron! All that chain work makes my fingers numb. :)

Horribly intrusive watermarks are tacky. If you're concerned about people stealing your photos, don't post them on the internet.

Photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event. (HCB)

that gold really brings out a nice touch :highfive:

I'm completely speechless. I swear you have got to be the most talented person I know!

I do have one question though, and I'm sorry if this sounds stupid. But I’m wondering if it is difficult to fund the costs of making your jewelry? I just curious because you use such expensive materials to make your jewelry, and unless you have a commissioner for each piece, or happen to own a jewelry shop, it must be kinda hard to find a lot of buyers for your artwork, so you can continue to make more jewelry.

But this is just fantastic though, and I love the darker coloring. I really must by some of your jewelry some day.

LOVELY!!!!!!!!!

Not a stupid question at all, I ask that question myself all the time. :giggle:

I try not to worry about funding. There's always a way to get by. Plus the cost of living in Thailand isn't that high (especially when I live with my parents) and I donate much of my time and work to teaching rural Thai women silversmithing. They often give me free food. It's a win-win situation. :D

I don't think I can stop jewelry even if I want to -- to many lives depend on this. :)
